Ramen and Other Random Cupcakes! :)

Last Saturday, my sister baked another red velvet cupcakes and also made two different frosting: nutella and cream cheese. I wanted to play around with it and decided to make random stuff... like ramen :P and other random, cute things...

I had sooo much fun making these! I love doing small detail works, as long as I don't have to make a whole dozen of 'em! Haha, it was definitely most time-consuming for the Ramen Cupcakes!! Hope these can give you all some ideas/ inspirations if you ever decide on making cute cupcakes! They're fairly easy.. :)

Halloween inspiried Cupcakes!

This Halloween, we got some cupcake order from one of my friend. He wanted a Halloween-themed cupcakes. Well what better ways than making things like: pumpkin, witch hat, RIP grave sign, mummies, and a ghost itself? When I tried looking up some ideas from Google, I saw many people making eyeball cupcakes.. I thought about it, but I didn't want to freak my friend out by giving him disgusting looking cupcakes. He was giving it to his sister too, so I didn't want to go with the nasty/ scary looking themes of Halloween. I chose a simple, cute, and easy-to-make cupcakes. I didn't have much time on my hand, so I couldn't do 3D designs on all of the cupcakes (which I wanted :( !!) but I'm just really glad the customer liked the result!

We used two different flavors for the cupcakes:

Red Velvet with Cream Cheese- Mummies, Pumpkin, "Boo!"
Vanilla with Nutella Frosting- Ghostbuster, Witch hat, RIP grave yard

Ball Cupcakes! :)

This one was made for one of our friend's birthday. Since he loves sports, his wife ordered us to make cupcakes of his most favorite sports: Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Soccer. 

This was actually our first time working with frosting as the decorators. The only ball that I decided to use fondant was the soccer ball. I actually did try making them with frosting, but it ended up looking sloppy and unrealistic, so I used fondants in the end (after all, fondants are my best friend <3) And also, we used tootsie rolls for the footballs! :D  

Flower Bouquet Cake! :)

So I know I don't blog a lot, and I'm getting lazier by days... just because there are a lot of things I have to do other than blogging about my life. I realized that I probably won't be blogging much in the future anyway, so I've decided to make my blog specifically about my baking projects instead. At first, I decided to make a blog only because I had more free time and I wanted to try something new that I've never done before. Obviously, it won't work out very well now that I'm busier. And since I don't bake often, I probably won't be on here much anyways. I'll go back here every now and then, but I'll only be posting if there are new projects :)

Anyways, my manager ordered a cake for his wife's birthday. He told me that his wife once told him to not get her flowers because they don't last and usually die within a couple of days (I'm assuming she's not much of a gardener haha) so I told him, why not make a bouquet of flowers as her birthday cake instead?! The cake probably won't last long either, just like the flowers, but hey.. at least this won't be considered a "waste of money" since you can eat it! Haha, and this is it... 

I didn't want to use bright colors and decided to stick with the pink/ red theme. I thought it's a little to childish if it were to be purple, blue, red, yellow, etc. Surprisingly enough, this cake project didn't take up as much time as my other projects (which is a big YAY!)

Dog Cupcakes! :)

I've always wanted a dog for as long as I can remember now, but yet I still can't have them :( My parents think I won't take care of them and also because the costs of having a dog is pretty expensive... Soooo, my sister baked some cupcakes for me to play around with! We didn't make the frosting this time because we were too lazy and besides, I just wanted to do it for the sake of decorating haha. We just bought the already made frosting from Safeway. I know I haven't post in a while. I got lazy thinking, well not like anyone cares/ are reading my blogs daily >.< But then I'm definitely going to be updating here as much as I can :) Well, there are my five doggies <3

Some Cake Projects from Before! :)

Hi ya'll! So I don't know if anyone is even reading my posts, but anyway I really am starting to enjoy blogging! I feel like I can write about anything and everything I want without having to worry about being judged.. afterall this is MY own blog. 

Anywhooo... I miss baking. It's been a while since my sister and I last baked together. Yesterday, while I was blogging about my last post, I came across my cake pictures and gawd, I miss it! Well, if you didn't know (and I don't expect you to..) My sister and I usually bake once in a while if we have some cake orders/ requests from our friends. I guess I wouldn't say that I bake, because my sister is usually the baker while I'm in charge of decorations... Couple months ago we bought this book from Amazon about cupcakes. They show you how to decorate cupcakes and omg!! They're all super creative and adorable.. Sadly though, we haven't had the time to actually try it out and when we do, I will definitely post it here (and also I'll take a pic of the book we bought). Anyways I don't think it was an expensive book, but then again I'll double check next time..

And as for now, I just wanted to show you all some of our "creations" hahaha.. I guess my decor can be a little sloppy :( Oh and this is pretty much in order.. meaning the very first picture is the most RECENT one..

We actually made more cakes and also cupcakes, but somehow I can't find the pictures.. So I guess this could be like a little sneak peak :) What do you think of my decoration? Sloppy? Too common/ uncreative? I'd love to see what others think.. if there is even anyone reading this haha >.<
